Bookish in the Mitten

Book reviews, book recommendations, book talk, and a little knitting

I searched a long while for the right poem to share today. I never found it. Instead, listen to this profoundly comforting farmyard poem written by Garrison Keillor, set to a melody you will recognize. Give it 30 seconds; it’s kind of corny at first but is mostly sublime.

Editing to add that I have a hunch that I don’t understand the Embed feature of WordPress. What you should be hearing is a song. When I tried to access this from my phone just now it was a weird monologue that is NOT sublime – just a little funny.

I wish you health and peace.
